30 days to 30
In 30 days, I’ll be 30 years old or 10,680 days old. Dang. I really shouldn’t have multiplied 30 by any number.
So, in honor of these next 30 days I’ve decided that I’ll do something to honor my 30 years on each of these days. It will be an intense run of 30 days, but I think it will be worth it.
I am glad to be sharing this journey with you. Outlined below are the 30 things I will do on each of the days to follow. In no particular order.
1. Sign up for a photography class & go! (to start on Sept. 14th!)
2. Complete the mud run, maybe even with a swim cap on! (on Sept.25th)
3. Celebrate one year of marriage! (Sept 4th!) (done)
4. Complete one sewing project, (my eye is on several)
5. Launch Half’s fall line (August 28th, 7pm, Hallelu) (done)
6. Be well on the way to debt free. (it’s getting there, oh Sallie Mae, I have never wanted you out of my life more) (done)
7. Make 3 new recipes. (one for every 10 days) (first, second, third)
8. Find out about personal training.
9. See Inception. (thanks to this deal, it will now be a reality soon! you can sign up here.) (saw it)
10. Make a flower like this. (or a few)
11. Clean out my inbox. (Practical, but necessary)
12. Clean off my desktop (see above) (&done)
13. Schedule a yard sale for October (done)
14. Get an @kellycain.com email address (done)
15. Finish at least one of the 4 web projects currently in motion. (done)
16. Rename my business.
17. Get back into the Wii Fit.
18. Catch up on My One Word Journal
19. Finish Animal, Vegetable, Miracle
20. Make homemade cheese.
21. Take the high road. (had the opportunity to do that yesterday, and today) (in progress)
22. Clean out my drawers and closets. (seriously, I don’t wear half of these clothes any more) (in progress)
23. Paint.
24. Make progress on my business plan.
25. Replace my green pitcher.
26. Get a new, unlined notebook.
27. Make homemade salsa. (done)
28. Food blog. (done)
29. Go to ikea. (fun fact: the first Ikea I ever went to was in Budapest, Hungary, the 2nd was in Bratislava, Slovakia) (done)
30. Print wedding pictures. A year later, and I still have none printed, an outrage! (done)
So, there it is, my list, ambitious for 30 days? Perhaps? But it’s also just a glorified to do list, in a way.
You can track my progress here.
