switching hosting companies, site5 to the rescue!
So, a few months back, I starting having issues, and lots of them with my hosting company, bluehost.com. I’ve been with them since the beginning of my blog, but when it came right down to it, they just weren’t living up to their agreement to provide me with a safe and secure site. And this despite my efforts to back up and restore my files, multiple times. In fact, I contacted bluehost’s customer support on 10 or more occasions asking for help with the malware issue, and they gave me a checklist. Of which, I completed, but to no avail. In the end they were not willing to do more than that.
Needless to say, I learned my lesson. My biggest roadblock was migration. I have about 5 wordpress sites and databases that would need to be moved, and that’s why I was impressed when I found Site5, a site recommended by TentBlogger, affordable, with way more options than what I was previously paying for.

I’ve been extremely impressed with Site5′s customer service thus far, which is key. I was given constant updates through the migration process letting me know where the back up was, and specific instructions on how to update my records once the migration was complete. In fact, I experienced very little downtime, if any.
So far, Site5, you have far exceeded my expectations. And I thank you.
If you are entering the blog world and need a place for hosting, consider it, so far it’s far exceeded my expectations.
