Liam Cain Smith came into the world at 11:41pm on August 24th, 2011. At birth he weighed 7 pounds and 13 ounces and was 20.75 inches long. He is a sweet snuggler and his parents are completely smitten. We can’t wait to tell Liam that the week he was born we had a water spout, earthquake, and hurricane… it was quite an eventful week.
The hair color and eye color to the left are guesses as we’ll see in the coming weeks how he changes. We’ll be sure to update you.
His namesake:
The name Liam is derived from the name William, which is a family name on both sides. Liam is irish and means strong-willed warrior. (side note – the name Kelly is also Irish and also means warrior). Cain is Kelly’s maiden name and does not have a male to carry it into the next generation and we thought it important to continue it in the best way we could.
We love our family of three, and our little section of the alphabet.
